I Always Answer NO
Every time any primary care provider asked me one of those many questions that they always ask a patient, I always say NO. The question is, “Do you smoke?”. I got reminded of such question when I stumbled upon this online smoke shop that sells cigars of any kinds and brands. And I remembered my late father, too, who was a bad chain smoker. It was the reason why he died so early– because of emphysema. Last night, while Triz and I did our bedtime story, she popped up a question that made me think so seriously. She asked, “Mom, why didn’t you tell Grandpa not to smoke? He would have been alive today…” What a smart kid, isn’t she? I sure hope my Papa is still around today. Life would have been different but definitely more awesome! 🙂
